Wintour: Gaga Communed With God

Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with designer Marc Jacobs on Wednesday and said that a divine conversation delayed Lady Gaga from performing at the Met Costume Institute Gala in May.

Fallon and Wintour recalled the performance where Gaga appeared in a crystal catsuit after a waiting period.

“There was a brief moment where she was communing with God and she was praying in the back waiting for God to tell her it was all right actually to go on stage,” Wintour said.

“Fortunately, he gave her the message after 45 minutes,” she said.

This empty page of a woman for all the hype is only a very faint shadow compared to her predecessors and she will be totally forgotten within moments when she is finally replaced. Then fashion will finally get back on track again, that is talent will again shine above shallow hype and celebrity. And it can't happen too soon!
