Anne Heche’s Mom, Antigay Author

NANCY HECHE HOMOSEXUALITY BOOK X390

Nancy Heche, the mother of actress Anne Heche, has coedited and helped write a 500-page antigay book called The Complete Christian Guide to Understanding Homosexuality.

Joe.My.God. reports via Patrick Fitzgerald at Ex-Gay Watch:

“Joe Dallas and Nancy Heche are listed as the general editors. Though most of the book is written by Joe Dallas and Nancy Heche, contributing authors are listed as Alan Chambers, Paul Copan, Melisa Fryrear, Mike Haley, Bill Maier, and Randy Thomas. All of whom, with the exception of Paul Copan (to my knowledge), are or were speakers at Love Won Out conferences.”

Love Won Out is run by Exodus International, the Christian group focused on “liberation” from homosexuality.

In 2006, Heche published an antigay book, The Truth Comes Out, about her life with a closeted husband and her daughter, Anne Heche, who had a highly publicized relationship with Ellen DeGeneres. Nancy Heche's husband died of AIDS in 1983.

When Anne and Ellen went public with their relationship in the late '90s, Nancy Heche said, “It's like a betrayal of an unspoken vow: We will never have anything to do with homosexuals.”

You people are the hate mongers. This poor woman had two confused people in her home. People lied to by satan telling them they were normal. Homosexuality is not a gender, nor is it normal. Read the Bible God says it is wrong, an abomination. Genesis international helps people out of this bondage by satan. Johnathon and David loved each other , not unnaturally. they were not gay and neither was Ruth there are different kinds of love, agape is Christian love, quit trying to make yourself seem ok, you are being deluded. Wake up and be healed, we are praying for you. You are the haters we are trying to lovingly tell you the truth, this is not natural. Ruth was married to Boaz. Ruth loved her mother-in-law. You can love (Agape) people without a sexual relationship, Do you love your family.Wake up!

@bill, fictional characters can't "hang out with us", no matter HOW much you want it to be so. Oh, and btw - Santa Claus isn't real, either.

@JDB - But can Alanis Morrisette be fabulous? I think not! I think RuPaul would be fabulous as God.

So this is how she loves her neighbor? I wonder what Jesus would say?

@ Jake - I absolulety agree. Further, Jesus had a preferential option for the marginalized, the poor, the alienated, the dispised. He'd be hanging out with us. We'd be the good samaritan. When these "christians" die and find out that God is RuPaul, aren't they gonna be surprised?

I am a Christian and I resent their using the word Christian in the book title. An anti-gay book has nothing to do with the teachings of Christ but it is an excellent example of 'taking the Lord's name in vain.'

You do know that Blacks took away no one's Constitutional rights. Civil Rights for Blacks were sought only to be equal in the eyes of the Law just like any other U.S. citizen. By the way, there are plenty of Black LGBT people in the country now in the same pursuit for equality for all our LGBT community, Mark from WF.

Actually He did speak on the subject when He healed the Centurion's partner. There was also mention of a greek-cultured youth in the Garden, the very gay back story of whom can be found in the Lost Book of Mark, and who was next mentioned ( in the "approved" Book of Mark ) sitting in the empty tomb.
