@Liam, Glee is supposed to be campy. The stereotypes are there as a deconstruction as well. If you actually watched it for more than one episode, you would see that all isn't as it seems. The bitchy cheerleader, the dumb jock, the effeminate gay, the black diva, the depressed goth - all are shown to be quite different than when they first appear. It has even been called the darkest, saddest show on television masquerading as the happiest.

I'm glad that Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory was nominated and Kristen Wiig of SNL, but I hate Neil Patrick Harris. He's so arrogant and annoying. I don't get the popularity of Glee, I tried to watch and it was so corny (it also uses a lot of stereotypes). I'd love to see You Don't Know Jack, that looks great.

On The Good Wife Kalinda is probably BISEXUAL not gay or lesbian. She has dated a guy and woman to woman attraction is strongly implied. There's nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian, but it's important to recognise the B in LGBT is there for a reason.

I noticed that the Advocate.com does that too. One time, I made a comment on a quote in one of their articles. By the end of the day, the quote had been removed and the whole article was rearranged so my comment made absolutely no sense. Good journalism means that you don't have to cheat and go back and clean up what you publish. Publish something that then stick by it, no matter what is originally printed. After all, we can't change or remove our comments. That doesn't seem fair.

When this article was first posted they were not. I've noticed that the Advocate has a habit of posting news without doing all the proper research and editing first, and then cleaning up articles throughout the day. I don't think it's a good strategy for a news magazine.

Both Ferguson and Colfer WERE mentioned in the article I read. And good to know Mr. O'Malley's touching performance in Glee has not gone unnoticed

Congratulations also to Mike O'Malley for his guest actor nomination for playing Kurt's dad on "Glee."

In addition to the Colfer omission, you mentioned Eric Stonestreet, who is straight but plays gay on Modern Family, but forgot Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays his partner and is openly gay. Please improve your research.
