The Passion for Christ
Movement is releasing a series of online videos in
its "Ex" campaign, a crusade against
homosexuality, pornography, abortion, and other things opposed
by the fundamentalist group. In a video titled "Is It
Possible to Stop Being Gay?" a woman wearing an
"Ex-Homosexual" T-shirt characterizes homosexuality as
"bondage" and a "lifestyle that would get you hooked."
She also attributes her abuse of drugs and alcohol to
homosexuality. The woman also claims that once she found love
for God, he restored her attraction to men, and she no longer
looks at women.
The series also
includes spots featuring an "Ex-Porn Addict," an
"Ex-Masturbator," and the latest, an "Ex-Abortionist."
The campaign is sponsored by the P4CM Christian Fellowship,
based in Los Angeles.
The P4CM website is
selling the shirts featured in the videos, among them
"Ex-Homosexual," "Ex-Atheist," "Ex-Fornicator,"
"Ex-Bisexual," and "Ex-Diva."
