Madea Actor Terrell Carter Outed by Ex

Actor Terrell Carter, the star of a number of Tyler Perry's stage productions in his famed Madea series, was outed over the weekend when his ex-boyfriend posted photos on the Internet of himself with Carter.

The actor, who starred in the stage productions of Class Reunion and Meet the Browns as well as the big-screen adaptation of Diary of a Mad Black Woman , had made a name for himself among female fans of Perry's work.

The alleged ex-boyfriend, Alex Cortez, started posting the pictures on various websites last week before featuring them on his MySpace and Twitter accounts, writing: "Hell yeah i'm angry! there are fucked up ppl out there no matter how nice they seem to be & it's their fault, ppl they harm are bitter!"

Black gossip blogs have flocked to the photos. Gossip site MediaTakeOut.com has more than 450 comments, while gossip blogger Sandra Rose , who originally reported that Carter was gay earlier this year, wrote that "99% of the actors in Tyler's movies are gay."

What difference does it make, really? Only bitter individuals do this type of mess. If he calls himself his lover, who needs enemies???

OK.. So he's gay.. So what? Never understood why folks make such a big deal about someones elses sexual orientation. Long as he's happy with what he does and who he does it with.. Nothing else matters. I know a lot of folks that are gay, but ACTING straight, because society puts such a stigma on it.. Well, more so for men. If it was a female, nobody would care. Hmmm...

Chile damn near every one of those men in Tyler Perry plays are homosexuals. It always the ones with the muscles and the deep voice that the women be hollin over. Tyler Perry is still the man though...his movies and plays are REALLY good. But if the dudes are gay..then it is what it is...thats their business...ya'll choose who ya'll want to be with and they choose who they want to be with. I bet Terrell didnt think his lil spanish fly would put him on blast though lol!

I just feel that its childish and very cattish of his lover to do that to him but on the other hand it was bound to be heard about or seen someday anyway. So he should just take it now and move on with his life and im sure he will live a bit better now not having to hide whatever he was hiding.but then again as Mykol Gantt said above that who is to sya he was in hiding anyway. I just feel too much hoo haa has been made over this already. lets move on!

Lawd, Lawd, Lawd. Racist remarks, hate and acting like kids all over a gay male outted by an ex-lover. You'd think in 2009 we could live and let live. If we have not learned from the past, then this will surely destroy us as a human race in the future. We need to clean our own closet, before judging others. The world is F'ed up enough with ppl losing homes, cars, jobs and family. Who cares if the man is gay, who cares if prop. 8 passed. If you live with your lover, friend or other just be happy with what God gives you. Live each day as if it's your last. And yes Im gay and darn proud of it. My motto is "Don't throw no stone at my glass house and I surely wont throw any at yours". I enjoy my life, my world and I'm comfortable with my sexuality. Ppl need to learn to keep their nose out of other ppl business, isn't that what we tell the Govn't. Slavery you're just a racist, but I got nothin but love fa ya bro. I hope your heart change, if not it will eat you up.

I am not surprised at all. Tyler Perry likes to hire gay men for his movies. But they are all in the closet. But I think what his boyfriend did was horrible.
