Joy Behar: Isn't Janet Napolitano Gay?

JOY BEHAR SCREENGRAB X390 / Advocate.com

Quickly becoming second only to The Rachel Maddow Show as prime time’s most gay-centric news talk show, The Joy Behar Show has been generating a lot of press for its coverage of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and the National Equality March.

But this Monday, an exchange between Behar and guest Dan Savage that was largely overlooked by the press had her wondering if Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano is openly gay.

Napolitano had appeared on The View earlier in the day and explained why President Obama has "dragged his feet" on gay rights. Savage countered that Napolitano herself has done nothing for gay rights.

"Isn't she gay?" Behar shot back.

"I've never slept with her," Savage wrote back.

"You know what, guys? Neither have I," Behar said.

Long rumored gay, Napolitano has consistently said she is not.

SZL, Beck used to have a show on CNN Headline News, where Joy's show now airs. I think that if Napolitano were gay, it would be great if she was out, but as it appears she isn't gay. However, she's a Democrat, and one would hope that means she will do whatever is in her power as Homeland Security secretary for gay rights.

She is so outspoken and awesome. I always liked her. Also, Joy is working for CNN, Glenn Beck is Fox News Network. They are not from the same network.

Love Her! Can you beleive this is the same network that featured Glenn Beck? Glad they got rid of the Mormon ex-drunk cry baby.
