Prejean Sued for Cost of Boob Job

CARRIE PREJEAN X390 (CBLPI.ORG) | ADVOCATE.COM

In the wake of decrowned Miss California Carrie Prejean's suit against K2 Productions, pageant coordinator Keith Lewis, his former codirector Shanna Moakler, and pageant publicist Roger Neal, the Miss California pageant has filed a countersuit.

Prejean's suit concerns “public disclosure of private facts,” which, according to E! Online, refers exclusively to her breast augmentation surgery.

"The alleged 'private facts' consist of her breast augmentation (which ceased being private during the swimsuit competition of the nationally televised Miss USA pageant, in which Ms. Prejean walked the stage in a bikini)," says the countersuit.

In turn, Miss California officials have filed a countersuit against Prejean to demand that she return the $5,200 they paid for her breast augmentation surgery.

The claim is the latest in the epic battle between Prejean and K2 productions, the directors of the Miss California USA pageant, according to E! Online.

"Had [Prejean] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle," the suit states, according to E! Online.

Good for the pageant for countersuing. She has been nothing but obnoxious and disrespectful to the rules, so she should pay them back the money. You don't get free things under certain circumstances and then go and violate those rules and sue on top of that. Get every penny from this b***h.

Just the fact that she had breast augmentation done is a clear illustration of everything that's wrong with the beauty pageant circuit these days. I mean, isn't it supposed to be about who the woman is, not what she's been re-engineered into being? Other than the love of fabulousness (which seems lacking in this whole tacky genre anyway) I don't see why any self-respecting gay person would get involved in these farces!
