Cheyenne Jackson: Alec Baldwin's "Sexy"

Broadway leading man Cheyenne Jackson, who made his debut on NBC’s 30 Rock last night, said that he thinks his sitcom costar Alec Baldwin is “incredibly sexy” -- in a totally professional kind of way.

Jackson spoke with Marc Malkin of E! online, who reminded readers of Baldwin’s recent admission to Entertainment Weekly that he used an “ass double” for a nudity scene in his upcoming film It’s Complicated, with Meryl Streep.

"I'd look at that," Jackson told Malkin about Baldwin. “Alec Baldwin is incredibly sexy. He's an alpha male."

Jackson clarified that his statement refers strictly to his admiration for Baldwin’s talent as an actor.

"I would say I have a talent crush on him,” he told Malkin. “That's what we say here in New York -- a talent crush."

I realize The Advocate and much of its readership has the political astuteness of a birdbrain, but is it really news worthy that this actor finds an anti-gay blowhard to be sexy? Even if I were a chubby chaser, I don't think I would go gaga over this bum Baldwin. His ex-wife (who left him when he couldn't help her carreer) claims he abused his daughter.

    Comment:

Alec Baldwin is a homophobe who shouted an anti-gay slur. He is a fake liberal and has not been "sexy" for years. When he was "sexy" he was made successful due to the attentions of gay men and this piece of blubber owes us.

Cheyenne doesn't to choose his words carefully as much as people need to not read so much into things. It was a respectful comment on admiration for the talent of Alec Baldwin -- simple as that. People need to get a grip and stop trying to generate drama.

With increased notoriety and publicity I'm sure Cheyenne is aware he needs to choose his words a bit more carefully now. At any rate, the best of luck to a talented performer.
