Taylor Takes It Off for Rolling Stone

TAYLOR LAUTNER ROLLING STONE 2 X390 (ROLLINGSTONE.COM) | ADVOCATE.COM

Taylor Lautner is the latest celebrity to sex it up for the cover of Rolling Stone — standing on a beach in a wet, see-through T-shirt and appearing inside with no shirt at all. But this isn’t the first time the magazine has objectified men on its cover.

Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, and Ashton Kutcher are just a few of the men who have stripped down for the iconic pop culture bible. While tons of mags make their money objectifying women, Rolling Stone is one of the few mainstream magazines to unapologetically market with the help of shirtless men.

Take a look at a few of the magazine’s more homoerotic covers to hit newsstands in the past several years.

There's nothing particularly "homoerotic" about any of these photos at all... All it's proof of is that we(the gay community) lust after the same types of photographs of our celebrities as heterosexual people. No biggie.

What is supposedly "homoerotic" about any of these photos?

QAF ran into the same problem in the first season because justins character is 17. their response is the same as rolling stone's, and, well, mine. the age of consent in the US (as in many other countries) is 16. it can vary by state, but there are very few who make it 18. for girls, its almost always 18, but its 16 for boys. so can we please move on from this QAF-equuis-oh-em-gee-hes-17 scandal business?

Look at Ricky Martin's Rolling Stone cover, I believe page 5 of this article. Isn't that a the only guy swimming next to him on the left? And Taylor, although only 17, has the best body of all THESE 7 "Objectified" celebrities. What I'd like to know is what he did to gain those 30 pounds of muscle to look like that. He is going to be one hell of a Hot Man once he grows up. For you nosy Heteros who might be here today thinking we all are after young boys or your children. Think Again.
