True Blood Casts Gay Vampire

True Blood has cast two new characters, including the boyfriend of vampire king Russell Edgington, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hollywood newcomer Theo Alexander will join the cast as Talbot, an “intensely beautiful” vampire who loves to cook.

Greece-born Alexander will be sharing the screen with actor Denis O'Hare, who plays his love interest, Russell

Also announced, Grant Bowler will play Coot, a werewolf ringleader of a biker gang. Bowler has recently appeared on 13 episodes of Ugly Betty as Vanessa Williams’s love interest.

True Blood’s third season began production Wednesday.
