Palin Sues Johnston for Custody

BRISTOL PALIN LEVI JOHNSTON X390 (GETTY) | ADVOCATE.COM

Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol has sued Levi Johnston for sole custody of their child, Tripp Johnston-Palin, and now two superior court judges have unsealed the court record and denied Palin’s request that pseudonyms be used, the Alaska Dispatch reports.

It’s not yet apparent whether Johnston’s public appearances since his son’s birth—most notably his decision to pose nude for Playgirl magazine—will be a part of the proceedings. Earlier this month Johnston told Headline News’s Joy Behar that he likes being a gay icon.

Palin filed for custody on November 4, at which time Judge Kari C. Kristiansen issued a temporary order limiting access to the case files and allowed the parties to file under pseudonyms. Johnston, however, appealed those decisions. On December 23, Kristiansen denied Palin’s request for a closed proceeding. On the same day, Presiding Judge Sharon Gleason denied Palin’s request to use pseudonyms.

In opposition to the request for a gag order, Johnston’s lawyer, Rex Butler, said: “Simply put, this matter is public in nature, the courts are not refugees for the scions of the elite to obtain private dispensation of their legal matters because the public at large has an interest in the proceedings.”

For his part, Johnston said he feared that Sarah Palin might have too much pull if the proceedings were made private. “I do not feel protected against Sarah Palin in a closed proceeding,” he wrote in an affidavit. “I hope that if it is open she will stay out of it…. I think a public case might go a long way in reducing Sarah Palin’s instinct to attack and allow the real parties in this litigation, Bristol and I, to work things out a lot more peacefully than we could if there is any more meddling from Sarah Palin.”

See footage from Behar's interview with Johnston below.

There is no question that Sarah Palin put her daughter up to this. Her daughter is still a child and how many 20 years olds do you know that would do something like this on their own. It further proves that Sarah Palin puts on this goody two shoes act in public, but is really vindictive and self righteous behind close doors. Levi seems to be the only sane one in the bunch, hopefully he'll retain joint custody.

Everyone knew that election-year shotgun wedding was just a ploy concocted by Sarah Palin. Momma Palin didn't want to look like a hypocrite in front of millions of voters so Bristol and Levi were forced to "stay true to their Christian beliefs" that they deviated from and get married. And if there is at least one person who's happy McCain/Palin didn't win, it's Trigg, who'll never have to experience his parents' sham marriage just because of Sarah Palin's insatiable thirst for power and political greed.

Steve said"This moron thinks he's a gay icon? LOL. " Steve - please reealize the significance of Levi going "gay', if only for a fotoshoot. First, that creep Palin's daughter got herself knocked up in spite of her abstinence bitch momma Second, McBitch is now tarred with a gay man in the family. It makes this nutbitch a less desireable candidate for destroyer of the united states, which she would be, if she became president. God made a mistake with Ms Palin (not her daughter) He should have given her fins and gills. So Trig could have hooked her, chopped her up, and roasted her over a fire, and shit her out. Which is where the stupid woman belongs..

This moron thinks he's a gay icon? LOL. He's a worthless douchebag. Showing your ass for a buck does not make you an icon. If it did, thousands of men on the Internet would be icons as well. Maybe if Levi (or Ricky Hollywood as he calls himself) spent a little more time acting like a responsible parent and less time whoring himself out as some sort of D-List celeb, he might at least be considered an icon in the trailer park he came from.
