Kellan Strips Down to His Calvins

KELLAN LUTZ CK AD X390 (FAIR USE) | ADVOCATE.COM

Following in the footsteps of Mark Wahlberg, Twilight star Kellan Lutz has stripped down for a new Calvin Klein underwear campaign.

Lutz joins True Blood star Mehcad Brooks and Spanish tennis star Fernando Verdasco in promoting Calvin Klein’s new X underwear line.

“I started out modeling so this is the pinnacle,” Lutz told People magazine. “What more can you do than be on a billboard for something that you grew up thinking was super sexy and classy? It’s really prestigious and I love it.”

This is arguably the underwear line’s most highly publicized campaign since Wahlberg stripped down for out photographer Herb Ritts in the early ’90s. Those photos made Wahlberg an overnight gay icon.

The ads are expected to start rolling out in March.
