SNL Tackles DADT

SNL KRISTEN WIIG X390 (NBC) | ADVOCATE.COM

Saturday Night Live opened its show this weekend with a blistering parody of Fox News on "don't ask, don't tell."

Show regular Kristen Wiig portrayed Fox News's Greta Van Susteren, who in the skit described a repeal of DADT as allowing gays to "prance around the military like it's Cirque du Soleil." Other targets of parody including Oliver North, Glenn Beck, Fox News correspondent "attractive blond lady," and Karl Rove, who said he likes lesbians a lot.

This clip is exactly like Fox News. Since the Republicans have Fox News, why don't the Democrats get a news channel? Then they can get out the truth that our tax dollars are being wasted and our miitary destroyed by throwing out 13,000 gay/lesbian soldiers including all the Arab linguists.

I saw it and thought it was hilarious. I like how they cut off Robert Gibbs too...so true.
