Massa "Just Tickled" Male Staffer

REP MASSA GLEN BECK X390

Former congressman Eric Massa told Fox News’ Glenn Beck Tuesday evening that he not only groped a former male staffer ... he "tickled him until he couldn’t breathe."

"Yeah, I did,” said Massa, a New York Democrat. "Not only did I grope him, I tickled him until he couldn't breathe and four guys jumped on top of me. It was my 50th birthday and it was kill the old guy."

Later Massa explained, "It doesn't make any difference what my intentions were, it's how it's perceived by the individual who receives that action. I'm telling you I was wrong. I was wrong. My behavior was wrong. I should have never allowed myself to be as familiar with my staff as I was."

Massa resigned Monday afternoon after the House Ethics Committee announced last week it would be reviewing a sexual harassment complaint made by a former staffer. Massa said Monday the investigation was a revenge tactic by the Democratic leadership for his opposition to health care reform.

Massa detailed his version of what happened on his radio show Sunday, saying the whole thing started as an innocent confrontation with a drunken male staffer at a wedding on New Year’s Eve, 2009.

Did anyone see when Larry King asked him if he was gay? He refused to saying that in 2010 that was an insult to gay Americans. An insult, in 2010? Seems like a reasonable question, not an offensive question...maybe an insult to Massa's wife. The more apt question would be "Are you bisexual".

Quite frankly I do not give a shit. Double digit unemployment, two wars that are destrying this country's economic infrastructure, the rich taking a crap all over the middle and working classes and a congressional staffer got tickled. Give me a fucking break people.

Day after day, Fox "News" tries to throw more and more dirt on the President and the Democratic Party through "sensational, exclusive" interviews, half truths and general misinformation. This was but another example and this may have backfired. Recent backfires have included their support of Liz Cheney and her DOJ comments now rejected by even the most Conservative Republicans, the hiring of Sarah Palin, and their calls for a banning of reconsiliation while touting "majority rule". This week they have a series going on how revised text books in Texas promote the "dumbing down of America" which may be the biggest example of the pot calling the kettle black in recorded history. So perhaps Rush is right. He will leave the country in health care reform passes simply because Fox may go off the air. Ah, wishfull thinking.

This guy is perfectly capable of destroying his own career, without the help of any individual or party. What a flake!

The more I learn about this and watch the way the White House and Rahm Emmanuel have handled it, the more I'm beginning to think Massa is being railroaded. The former Congressman is certainly deconstructing and bumbling his way through interviews, but the man whom he allegedly groped at a party is supposed to be one of his best friends for years. Maybe it is a real groping, but how many people grope their best friends? I think the White House/Rahm Emmanuel are trying to make him look like a gay closet case in retaliation. It really stinks.

His interview was hillarious, Glenn kept trying to get him to badmouth the dems, but for a solid hour he couldn't get a thing out of the guy.
