Friends Defend "Ex-Gay" Mom on the Run

LISA MILLER X390 (GRAB) | ADVOCATE.COM

Friends of missing woman Lisa Miller say they have no idea where she or her daughter have been for the last six months. Miller, who is in the middle of a custody battle with former partner Janet Jenkins, has been missing since last September, allegedly taking off with their 7-year-old daughter, Isabella.

According to a report by WSET TV in Virginia, most of Miller's friends say it has been six months since they've seen her. A court in Vermont, where Miller and Jenkins were joined in a civil union, had awarded full custody of Isabella to Jenkins; the conservative legal group Liberty Counsel is appealing that order on Miller's behalf. But Miller and the child have disappeared.

"Unbeknowing to any of us, she was doing something behind the scenes," said Linda Wall, one of the last people to see Miller.

Wall, like Miller, said that she was able to "leave homosexuality." She said that Miller knew she would not be able to maintain custody of Isabella and that the two started talking about what she would do if she were ordered to give up the child. Wall added that offers came from as far away as Israel to hide them but said she had nothing to do with their escape.

Wall also compared herself to Harriet Tubman, who led slaves in the South to freedom in the Northern states before slavery was abolished.

I don't see what the problem is. The MOTHER of this girl wants to raise her daughter the way she feels is best. The other homo woman is NOT her mother - so she isn't entitled to anything. I hope Lisa and her little girl are NEVER found! The real tragedy is that they had to go into hiding. There's only one mother here - that's all that should matter. Jenkins never adopted her - in fact, she refused to do so. She should have no right to access this child whatsoever. She just wants a pretty little girl to bathe nude with, like she did at her last visitation. Totally perverted!

Who is the biological mother? I am sorry but if Miller gave birth to the child then Jenkins should get visitation! They were partners, lovers. Let the biological mother have her child! I would run to!

The fact that she so so obsessed with the idea of herself as a person who can liberate people from their sexual orientation is just rhetoric for "I am so ashamed of my sexual orientation that I ignore it, and instead redirect that energy to more lesbians".

This is another example of large, anti-gay advocacy groups and militant anti-gay activists trying to redefine morality. Now, were expected to believe that kidnapping a child and disobeying laws are "moral" and "family values."

So the Liberty Counsel, claiming to stand for "Family values" and "strong families", is now protecting a mother who underwent illegitimate psychological treatment and disappears with her daughter, which, according to experts, is better off with the other mother. How ridiculous and disgustingly hypocritical. AS for Wall, Harriet Tubman escaped religiously endorsed oppression. How the hell can you compare that with, gee, I don't know, RELIGIOUSLY ENDORSED OPPRESSION. Also, Tubman was saving lives; this bitch is putting both her life and her daughter's life in danger. Read a book.

People are only lying to themselves when they say they left homosexuality.

First Linda wall says she has nothing to do with the disappearance. Then it says..."Wall also compared herself to Harriet Tubman, who led slaves in the South to freedom in the Northern states before slavery was abolished. Right you have nothing to do with it..and 2nd..As a descendent of slaves, I am utterly insulted. I am physically sick to my stomach. How dare you! Slaves were forced to be slaves. Nobody is forcing her to be gay. I can't...OMG..I'm going to throw up.

Let me make a correction here. She was not able to "Leave" homosexuality. IF she was truly gay then she is now just repressing her sexual impulses and living a lie. This poor child will never know the love of this one parent because of this twisted, dysfunctional religious cult. Just because you have changed your point of view does not mean you have the right to deny this woman a relationship with her child. To compare yourself with Harriet Tubman is a gross distortion of reality. When will people realize that this religion does more harm than good. This imaginary "Homosexual Agenda" is a lie. All we want is to live our lives honestly and be given the same Freedom proclaimed to us in the constitution.

When she is found there should be no bail and she should rot in prison for child abduction. If this had been a "Gay person" (yes I know she is still but...) that took off with the child you can bet your bottom dollar that there would be a nation wide manhunt for the person. She broke the law multiple times so no mercy for her.
