Lilith Kicks Off July 2 in Portland

 

The first block of tickets for the revamped Lilith Fair tour is expected to go on sale March 27, with the tour kicking off July 2 in Portland, Ore. Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Colbie Caillat, Erykah Badu, and Sugarland will headline that stop, with support from Marina and the Diamonds and A Fine Frenzy.

The first block of tickets for the revamped Lilith Fair tour is expected to go on sale March 27, with the tour kicking off July 2 in Portland, Ore.

Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Colbie Caillat, Erykah Badu, and Sugarland will headline that stop, with support from Marina and the Diamonds and A Fine Frenzy. Tickets for stops in Seattle, Chicago, Indianapolis, Toronto, Cleveland, Atlanta, and West Palm Beach, Fla., will also go on sale March 27.

Founded by McLachlan along with several producing partners in 1997, Lilith Fair ran from ’97 to ’99. McLachlan announced last year that she was planning to remount the tour.

Kelly Clarkson, Jill Scott, Tegan and Sara, Martina McBride, and the Bangles are among the acts expected to join the Lilith tour this summer. Ticket sales for further dates are expected to be announced later this month.

    I love Sugarland, and all the rest. I'm certainly not a manhater. I think you are a little confused Phillip. Although Lillith Fair draws a huge Lesbian crowd it isn't only women there. Also straight girls and their boyfriends and some gay guys too. Although I'm sure there maybe exist man hating Lesbians that old and worn out stereotype needs to be retired. Come and get to know the crowd and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
