Cyrus Deleted Twitter Acct. Over Antigay Hate Mail

MILEY CYRUS X390 (GETTY) | ADVOCATE.COM

Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account due to the large amounts of hate mail she received after showing her support for gay people, she told Parade.

"That's the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person," Cyrus said. "There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I've said or done because I believe there are no mistakes because God is the only one who can judge us."

James in Miami...Sweetheart I haven't called anyone names nor did I poke fun at Ullie. I did acknowledge that I was quite sure that others had. Nor have I defended Miley. You really should sober up after your Saturday night out before you start replying to other posts and making an ass of yourself. Just a thought precious! And by the way Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill is quite educated, affluent and liberal. No one here has any need to be in the closet as this area has been voted one of the best place to live in the US if you are Gay. Perhaps you should amend your mental stereotypes and mind your own business!

I'm sorry "d" but perhaps where you live people still make fun of others who have uncommon names. Being different isn't scornful. Miley isn't exactly a common name, either. And the issue here is Miley. The article doesn't mention that she uses "gay" as a slur, hardly the supporter of gay rights she claims to be. Her d-mented 9 year old fans can wax on about how great she is, but the the truth is elsewhere.

Mine is a German name. I am from Germany, living in New York. But we don't know your name (or care to) since you hide behind "d" as in dunce. Try getting a life instead of coming on here to ridicule other posters. You are stupid in Raleigh or wherever.

Ullie, with a name like that you really leave yourself open to verbal abuse. I'm sure others have already done that job for me. Take another Xanax honey and try recovering from your lobotomy!!

I also find it quite perverse but expected when one gay person has a differing view from another and they cry of CLOSET springs to life. Twisted, self deprecating in it's revelation and only damages the one who called it out. David you know nothing of me except my posts. How dare you judge me as being in the closet? Have your own opinions and have the maturity to grant me mine!
