Gay Candidate Gets Hate E-mail From RNC

FRED KARGER X390 (ADAM BOUSKA) | ADVOCATE.COM

Iowa Republican National Committee member Steve Scheffler sent an e-mail to Fred Karger, founder of Californians Against Hate, who is considering running for president, stating he would work overtime to ensure Karger's political aspirations are aborted.

"You and the radical homosexual community want to harass supporters of REAL marriage," Scheffler wrote. "As a private citizen and knowing literally thousands of caucus goers, I will work overtime to help ensure that your political aspirations are aborted right here in Iowa."

The e-mail was triggered by a message from Californians Against Hate that outlined how Maine officials ordered the National Organization for Marriage to submit names of its donors in a recent state election.

Scheffler confirmed he wrote the e-mail and made no apologies, according to The Des Moines Register.

"Have you studied our past caucuses — you have NO chance here in Iowa!" Scheffler wrote.

Sacrament belongs to Scheffler's particular religion and/or others religious views! A sacrament has nothing to do with civil law. Our civil laws are equal to all citizens, and should treat them all equally. Religion may have a free pass, but they have NO right to dictate their religious laws on our civil laws. Keep your religion to yourself because it has nothing to do with my own religious views, and that is why we've honored our common law of separation of church and state laws for generations. I understand their are those radicals that want to break away this understanding and split the country apart out of some anger they still hold, but those are a few radicals. The West is not the South or the original thirteen colonies, many other states joined the Union, so the constitution also applies to these states. We didn't join the Union so a few radicals can force us to submit to a few religious laws based on their own religious views.

If that many capital hill staffers are gay, why aren't they helping to defend the LGBTQ Community? The left should be courting them so we can quietly get dirt on these closeted anti-gay politicians. The media will never report on the private lives of anti-gay politicians like Michael Bloomberg UNLESS it can be tied to inappropriately spending tax-payer money or campaign contributions. Channel 7 just outed a guy in Australia using that excuse, so that's how we should do it, as "concerned" tax payers! : ) That should make the Tea Baggers happy.

When will this most likely well sprung asshole have his rentaboy come out and tell the fun tail they had together.? I understand the terrible situation behind some people being in the closet, and ending the closet is even more important that marriage. Because there is a 25% increase in support for gays and gay marriage when people know and respect someone who is gay. And from what I hear, an awful lot of capital hill staffers. especially those working for republicans are gay. And there is a nascent movement of these gays to get together and come out. So terrribly important.

Wow... ironic that he would use 'aborted' in his writings. I thought republicans were suposed to hate abortion and bomb abortion clinics, as they did in the 90's? now they are using abortion language, as a threat no less? the times... they are a chhaaaaaannnnngggggiiiiinnnnnggggg. Who wants to be scheffers idea of 'REAL marriage' involves beating his wife and kids? He does seem the personality.
