Luck Be A Lady? Keeton Case Open for Bets

YouWager.com, an online betting site, has authorized a betting pool on the federal lawsuit between antigay grad student Jennifer Keeton and Augusta State.

Keeton, a graduate student in the school of counseling, filed the lawsuit after being presented with an ultimatum: complete an LGBT-inclusive remediation plan or be expelled. Keeton refused the course on the grounds that the teachings of homosexuality were in opposition to her Christian beliefs. She’s filing under the claim that her First Amendment right to free speech and exercise of religion are in violation.

The Costa Rica-based betting site is currently hosting four different pools related to the case: "Will Augusta SU be found guilty of discrimination?" "Keeton opt to alter her beliefs to graduate?" "Augusta SU reverse its position and allow degree?" and "Keeton appear on The View to discuss her plight?"

My faith in any type of counselor is starting to wane. I can't believe the bigoted thinking of our future counselors. I wouldn't trust them with my dog face to face! Where are these bigots popping up from ? Disgusting!

She has no business being a counselor. Think of the damage she would do to LGBT people, especially vulnerable teenagers. Her poisonous beliefs would lead her to harm people rather than help them.

Reading this made me think about the previous article about same-sex teen dating: "A new study conducted by University of Michigan’s School of Public Health shows that dating members of the same sex while a teenager leads to higher self-esteem in boys and a reduced incidence of internalized homophobia for girls." Maybe this poor girl just hasn't found the right lesbian yet...

It cracks me up how the pictures of these monsters show them looking like courageous survivors/martyrs when in reality they are complete cowards who have to be told what their beliefs are.

The view talked about this today, and Hasslebeck already started in with the slippery slope argument "What's next, teachers, doctors?". Goldberg stopped the conversation to segue into a topic drop before a commercial break but mentioned that she's sure they will be talking more about this in the future. It has The View written all over it. I'd wager she'll be on the show at some point. And what is it with homophobic blonde women? At least Fox news has a steady supply to keep their female anchors fresh.
