Black Swan Shocks Venice Filmfest

BLACK SWAN X390

Attendees of the Venice Film Festival were reportedly shocked by the content of the opening film, Black Swan, which features scenes of lesbian sex, drug taking, and self-harm.

The ONLY difference, it seems, between this film and innumerable others is the inclusion of 'lesbian' sex. Self-injurious behaviours, heterosexual sex and drug taking are all standard fare. Grow up.

It's interesting that in the complete article at the AU site, the very last sentence comes out of nowhere and add information about her opposite-sex bedroom partner. It seemed very odd because it was clearly done to assure us she is not a lesbian, and also odd because the same would never have been done to a gay actor or actress. We are constantly told that publications don't disclose information about 'homosexuals' because it is very private, intimate, and adult in nature. But when they report on hets, they throw the same stuff around casual as hell.
