Former Washington, D.C. cop Kenneth Furr will likely get a plea deal for shooting at a car in August that contained five people, including three transgender women.

Furr initially faced a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon after his arrest for the shooting; Furr's vehicle also collided with the car containing the women. The crash and shooting followed an altercation between Furr and some of the women at a nearby drug store.

An assistant U.S. attorney is negotiating with Furr's attorney, according to reports. A felony status hearing is set for Nov. 18. Read more here.
