Pat Boone Wants Kevin Jennings Gassed

Pat Boone, the singer turned conservative political commentator, says the White House needs to be tented in order to get rid of the “parasites, vermin, roaches, rats, worms, and termites” that have found their way into the government.

Pat Boone, the singer turned conservative political commentator, says the White House needs to be tented in order to get rid of the “parasites, vermin, roaches, rats, worms, and termites” that have found their way into the government.

Amongst Boone’s list of “political voracious varmints” is Kevin Jennings, founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, who was appointed by Obama as assistant deputy secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools within the U.S. Department of Education.

“I believe, figuratively, but in a very real way, we need to tent the White House!” wrote Boone in a commentary for the conservative Christian news site World Net Daily.

Boone refers to Jennings as a “czar” and “extreme gay activist.”

The religious crooner also falsely claims that Jennings “praised the late gay rights activist Harry Hay for his defense of [the North American Man/Boy Love Association].”

The accusations, also reported by the Fox Nation website and the Washington Examiner, stem from a speech Jennings made in 1997, reports Media Matters.

In the speech, Jennings did applaud Hay for cofounding the Mattachine Society, one of the nation's earliest lasting gay rights organizations, but his comments did not involve NAMBLA.

In the fervent commentary, Boone also claims that Obama is filling the White House with “socialists, extreme leftists, and even proud, boastful Marxists,” all of which he says need to be sent to “varmint hell.”

And his daughter, while christian and conservative, is a darling woman. Seriously. I wonder how she feels about her father's stridency. Pat's positions are no surprise, but what is unfortunate is that he needed to re-amplify them for reasons I can't fathom. The man is not relevant any more - happens to the best of us. But he seems to think that he might be able to drum up an audience for a political 'second-act.' Such a shame. I like Debbie....

He was actually quite handsome in the film JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. But I think looks were the only thing he had going for him. The photo of his tiny penis is hilarious. Make a great campaign poster.

To be honest I thought that Pat Boone passed away years ago, apparently he and Anita Bryant have been hanging out ever since she got a pie in the face. I hope he realizes that all the hate he spews out isn't doing anything to help his cause. Pat Boone instead of spewing hate why don't you work on philanthropic projects that don't involve hat for example feeding the hungry in this country, or for all I care go see the U.S.A in your Chevrolet.

Although I think he is more of a loon I do agree with some of the things that Pat says. I think this whole thing about calling them vermin and fumigating the white house is not kosher but I do get the metaphor. He does make a point that there are marxists and socialists in the white house, some more outspoken than others. I think there should be no room for marxists in our government, Marxism has been proven to be a catastrophic failure in human history, and the vehicle for the most vicious crimes against human rights. As a gay man I cannot and will not support this ideology and we gays must be far away from it. I think that Kevin Jennings should resign nothing personal its just that he has too many skeletons in the closet and gives us a bad rep, and the NAMBLA thing is troubling to me because he hasn't come out and fully explain his connection with Harry Hay. There are plenty of qualified decent real gay Americans who would gladly take the job.

The only people ever condemned were the religious leaders who saw themselves as superior and, thereby, authorized to accuse and condemn othrers. Go back to your Scriptures Mr Boone!

I only see hates came out from his mouth. What an extremist. The era of bigotry will go away when all religious extremists with their false doctrines are wiped out from the American soil. By supporting the grow of love based religions, believers will change their hearts.

Pat Boone and his ilk belong in an institution. Now that his career is long over he is trying to gain publicity as a commentator. From the looks of that picture in the story, he must have had lots of "work" done for the man must be ancient by now. Anyone who takes his rants seriously is as crazy as he is !
