Levi: Phallus-less in Playgirl

The much-anticipated full-frontal shot of Levi Johnston is not happening in Playgirl, reports Gawker.com.

Daniel Nardicio, Playgirl spokesman and organizer of the shoot, says Johnston's manager, Tank Jones, previously told him Johnston would show the goods, but he and his client reneged in the end.

"He did not give 'full-frontal' as his manager, Tank Jones, reported he would," Nardicio told Gawker. "We're thrilled with the photos we got and are confident people will love them. Although there may be glimpses, we did not get full-on frontal nudity."

Please, he's milking his pseudo stardom for as look as he can which is understandable considering his other prospects. I still don't get the appeal to him physically at all; I mean at all!

I agree with Steve, I tend to think promoting celebrity related stories as gay related stories trivializes us all. Couldn't the advocate find some equally interesting human interest stories that do not reduce us to celebrity fawning morons?

Playgirl and Levi's manager completely colluded in this whole media frenzy of duping people (and the Advicate helped)... they sold huge numbers of on line Playgirl accounts and advance orders of the 'special release' publication- Levi probably gets a cut of all that- I'm definitely glad I didn't waste the monet to see a hockey stick- a warning to all of us- never trust Playgirl, etc- get it all free on line

Steve, it's not the advocate's fault, or any less-than-perfect gay person's fault, if your family judges you for being gay. Show them the articles you want to show them and if they flip out at seeing a headline like this, that's their problem.

I agree Steve (that it shouldn't be a feature story and the Levi is yummy), but i think it's alright to have some fun. After reading CNN or the Wall Street Journal on line and hearing about all of the 5 year-olds being killed by their parents in this country, or the bodies found on a lake in Chicago, or the H1N1 flu and the recession, I sometimes just want to stick my hand in the sand. Being gay is so much more fun!!!!! COngratulations on coming out. I'm from Alabama so I know what that process is like.

What a wasted opportunity. Does Levi have a future in politics since he seems to have gone back on a promise?

I'm tired of articles like this being pushed as news to the gay community. As a college student just coming out to my conservative family, the Advocate has numerous useful articles and statistics that I would like to show them, but I'm often too embarrassed by the front page content to even alert them to the fact that this website exists. Yes I'm gay and I'm attracted to men (Levi Johnston included) but stories like this just shouldn't be headline news.
