Hey, Liam. I’m Travis Parman and I handle LGBT outreach for General Motors. Thanks so much for your supportive comments. GM is proud of it HRC 100 score for workplace equality policies including domestic partner benefits. GM also has an active LGBT employee group that works to educate all employees about LGBT issues and provides input on LGBT marketing, advertising and communications activities. In times like these, we all get by with a little help from our friends so we’re excited by the RSVP response rate we’ve seen on FaceBook. It’s looking like a great turn out and should prove to be a lot of fun! If anyone does happen to be in the market and wants to support a car company that supports the LGBT community, GM’s brands include Chevrolet, Cadillac, Saab, Saturn, Hummer, Buick, Pontiac and GMC.

This is the time to reward the auto makers who have always wanted our business. When times are hard its ever important to reward with our money. that makes the biggest impact esp if you send in a letter to the other guys. Im not buying from your company because you dont offer gay bennies to your employees. Or I bought from you because you do and you offer a product that fits my needs thank you subaru!

Car sales must REALLY be bad for car manufacturers to acknowledge that gay men and women actually drive cars! :)PS I drive a Chevy Aveo. I can afford it AND it works great.
