Campaign employee was attacked in Washington, D.C.,
Saturday morning outside a gay club, local police reported.
The man, who was not identified, left the bar and
was followed by three men on bicycles who yelled
antigay slurs, according to TheWashington Blade, while beating him from
behind with an unknown object.
The victim
suffered bruises and cuts on his face and arms as well
as a laceration on the back of the head. He was also
robbed.
A HRC
spokesperson told the Blade that the victim
received stitches on the back of his head. (The
