Catholic School Principal Charged With Indecent Sex Act

A Westchester County, N.Y., Catholic school principal was arrested on charges of participating in sexual acts with two other men in the backyard of a vacant home in Greenburgh, the New York Daily News reported Monday.

A Westchester County, N.Y., Catholic school principal was arrested on charges of participating in sexual acts with two other men in the backyard of a vacant home in Greenburgh, the New York Daily News reported Monday.

Gabriel De Jesus, 41, of Ossining, told police he is the principal of Sacred Heart School for the Arts, a Catholic elementary school in Mount Vernon.

Authorities said DeJesus; Francesco Autera, 31, of Thornwood; and another man met online. The trio allegedly picked the backyard of a vacant home to conduct their group sex. An alert neighbor called 911 after noticing something suspicious.

Police said they found DeJesus and Autera naked and arrested both. They are charged with misdemeanor trespassing, public lewdness, and disorderly conduct.

The third man ran naked down the street before he could be apprehended, according to the Daily News.

New York archdiocese officials said they are looking into the matter and plans to speak with police. (The Advocate)

I am a mother of a nine year old who attends Scared Hearts School and had the privillage of meeting De Jesus and have nothing but good to say about him. He was very friendly and professional. Since his departure from Scared Hearts they have been running like chickens without heads. I am very disappointed that he was replaced by a woman who is very unfriendly. I am not gay no have gay tendancies but i see nothing wrong with De Jesus being there. Not because you are gay means that you are a pervert or a mollester. After all we are suppose to be educated people. Aren't we?

LOL! Wow - "Concerned Parent" in Mt. Vernon, NY. You really do have the balls to put up something like that. Hey, at least its a change for the Archdiocese. They are used to having Priests touch little kids. Im pretty sure DeJesus has done a pretty good job during his 7 years at Sacred Heart School. Its a shame that their are people like you that think he would sexually molest an innocent child. Thats absurd. Maybe you schould re-enroll yourself in Sunday school class and learn how to treat people and how God would want you to treat them.

I personaly know Gabriel DeJesus, he is a long time family friend and I want people to know that they shouldnt paint a picture about him based on what they see on the news. How come the other 2 men dont have their faces on every newspaper in N.Y.? Why pick DeJesus out of the 3. Its not because he's gay its because he was a catholic school principal, and it's not right that the media can publicly humiliate him like that. Yes, what he did was wrong but he's taking the wrap for it! What about his family? DeJesus has 3 kids and a wife and his kids dont know. How do you think they'll feel when they pick up a paper or browse the news. It's not fair you know. He's already been through enough!

When you do it in the backyard of a vacant home, it is no longer a "private act" and is therefore something taht should be prosecuted. I don't want to see my neighbors, straight, gay or any mix thereof, having sex outside my window. Let that happen in the porn movies...

What, no comments here? No screams of outrage that "private acts between consenting adults" shouldn't be persecuted? Why the silence?
