The Gay and
Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation announced Monday its
hiring of Michael Ruff as senior director of
development.

hiring of Michael Ruff as senior director of
development.
Ruff fills a
vacancy left by Julie Anderson, who is leaving
GLAAD after 11 years of service.
Ruff most
recently served as associate vice president of
development at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
He received his bachelor's degree from Concordia
College in Moorhead, Minn., with a triple major
in business administration, theater, and art. He will be
based in Los Angeles and will work closely with
Anderson until her departure on September 5. (The
