Our state constitution has been hijacked by religious bigots. Who's rights are next? Will we all be forced to wear Burkas or Mormon Garments soon? How could this happen? Hello is there any one out there. I won't drink the kool-aid .

Congradulations to the citizens of California for ratifying, as part of its "holy" charter to discriminate against an innocent class of citizens, who simply want to live a rich and sustaining life as a citizen of a monority, enjoying all the benefits provided to the majority. Can the amendment to disallow voting rights to those over 80 from voting because it threatens the right of voters under 80. Its a sad day for California, as well as a sad day for the United States.

Lets assume ten percent of the population of California is gay. That would mean that 3.6 million gay people live in California. If they would all move out of state try to imagine the loss of tax revenue California would suffer. California is going downhill fast. The state is bankrupt, foreclosure's are driving property values down, their economy is in a downward spiral. Gays of California - This is your queue. Abandon the state and let it try to manage without your tax dollars so they can see first hand that gays contribute to the economy rather than "suck" the system dry. Come to Massachusetts, we're all equal here!!

Protest with your feet. If you can, move to a more tolerant state. If you can't, boycott everything straight, especially weddings. Don't work at them or attend them. If anything, protest at every wedding in the state. Make our straight brothers and sisters feel what its like..

My Husband and I moved from California to Iowa a couple years ago. We are a same sex couple and we thought in alot of ways moving to Iowa would be moving back in time but now finding that California upheld Prop H8 is just put me at a lost for words that Iowa passed the law and California is going back in time and not moving forward.....Shame on you California with all your diversity and you can not see that equal rights are for everyone....shame shame shameful.

How is demonstrating in the streets worthy of arrest?! I thought only my city's authorities were that seriously against protest! I do not understand why the will of a hostile majority can trump the equality provision of the state's constitution.
