The Minnesota Valley
National Wildlife Area, near the Minnesota River, has become a
hot bed of activity, according to WCCO News. Local cops staged
an undercover sting operation as recently as Tuesday.
A local parent notified
the Burnsville, Minn., police department after a visit to the
park brought him and his sons face-to-face with some men
engaging in sexual acts. He said he then had to explain what
was happening to his children.
An unidentified police
officer told WCCO that the stings decrease the amount of public
cruising. He added that men seeking sex don't return to
areas that have been under investigation.
