Liz on Michael

Elizabeth Taylor, one of Michael Jackson's closest friends, has finally released a statement on the death of the 50-year-old pop sensation.

Elizabeth Taylor, one of Michael Jackson's closest friends, has finally released a statement on the death of the 50-year-old pop sensation.

Through her publicist, Taylor wrote, "My heart ... my mind ... are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can't imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together. I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can't believe it. I don't want to believe it. It can't be so. He will live in my heart forever but it's not enough. My life feels so empty. I don't think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I've ever known. Oh God! I'm going to miss him. I can't yet imagine life with out him. But I guess with God's help ... I'll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, 'To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.' And, I will love HIM forever."

TO ALL THE MICHAEL JACKSON BASHERS: Please consider his children - who called him "Daddy" and miss him dearly and may see these posts - they too are little children. And the Bible's admonation to "judge not lest you be judged' and "let you who are without sin, throw the first stone." Furthermore, it is not uncommon for people to throw allegations at the rich and famous in an attempt to get money - unless you were there you do not know if he did any of the things he was accused of - if you "know" he did, you must have been an accessory.

You have an unhealthy fascination with putrifying cadavers Dr. Goldstein. As a survivor of sexual abuse I know personally the kind of hatred that can be the victim's lot later in life. It took ten solid years to forgive myself for alcohol, drug abuse and the prostitution that I believed was all I was worth. Critical to the healing of my soul was forgiving my abuser. Only someone who has been through the process of forgiving this particularly sinister crime can understand the incredible sense of relief it affords the victim. You can't wash the filth off without this essential part of the therapeutic process. I was not particularly enamoured of Michael Jackson as a person although his talent is unquestionable. I don't know without a reasonable doubt that he is guilty of what he is suspected of. I know that if I couldn't forgive him I would hate him and hatred is too corrosive an impulse to entertain. Hatred is not a natural or spontaneous emotion. It is a symptom of something larger.

This story is off the front page. It will rot along with Michael Jackson's ugly corpse. Never again will he/she/it have another tiny little boy share his bed or pay millions to ensure the parent's silence. Never again will he/she/it hold a press interview saying she's straight and is against homosexuality on religious grounds. All the operations to look white will rot in the grave. The pop crap music that her tired fans think is great culture will eventually fade off the airwaves. Yes, I am mean to those who harm both the gay image and little children. I strike back. Now his mother wants his(?) kids. His mother who was quoted calling him the f word and did such a great job bringing up Michael! Enabling child abuse is as bad as doing it.

remember to err is only human. We were not there and that fact is all I need. I reframe from labeling someone something that is negative. We all are something bad to someone. My belief in God allows me to know that Michael can NOW be the child he never was and the father he wanted to be. His prolific contributions to the music industry will always be iconic in the true sense of the word. His trials and tribulations with reality was his biggest challenge. I know he rests in peace now.

Miss Taylor I'm sorry you lost your grand entrance escort but your judgement isn't always sound. You defended your buddy Ronald Reagan at an AIDS meeting. We all have picked loser husbands but you must keep divorce court in business. We didn't help a child molester.

In the 1950's I could understand someone in the entertainment field telling lies about his or her being gay. It was the only way to have a career and stay out of jail for people such as Rock Hudson. But times have changed. In Jackson's case it was more self hatred than anything else. The false marriages, who can believe he had a hard on for Lisa Marie ? The having so many little boys in his bed and the payoffs. Yes, I agree he was very harmful, too, concerning the gay male image. People see him and think "gay" but also "pedophile". (we can argue here if he was trans, etc. but the world still sees him as gay). A stigma we worked hard to erase. I'm sick of guilty white liberals and some blacks who will defend any black person who was wrong. Even one who did his best to look white. If the bottom line is we can't say anything bad because someone is black, I don't buy it.

Guess the army of 10 year olds you slept with was not the fountain of youth. Can I get a copy of tips on how to change my race?

Bill Clinton never had sex with Monica Lewinsky because he had said so! OJ never hurt Nicole! Ask him! Liberace was not gay! He told us! Michael Jackson was not a pedophile and a homophobe (well, he admitted having boys in his bed but that was just to help them. He did say homosexuality was disgusting and wrong, too) Anyway, we the star dazed fans believed him and to hell with all the kids, his million dollar lawyers and his pay off of $24 million to a parent convinced us! We are smart people! A rock star, even a bubble gum one, rules! SHAME ON MJ FANS IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE WORLDWIDE NEGATIVE IMAGE HE REINFORCED OF BEING A GAY CHILD MOLESTER (that is what millions think) AT LEAST CARE FOR THE MANY LITTLE KIDS WHO WILL NEVER TRUST ANYONE AGAIN. And when will one of them enter a gay bar and kill people? Jackson was a monster.

I ignore the comments by "Joy" and her other names since she claimed she wouldn't post anymore and also wrote she was straight, then a lesbian etc. She is outraged that we are against her idol, who was an anti-gay queen who was fixated on tiny boys. It isn't "judgemental" to be more concerned about children then to idolize a faded pop star. It isn't judgemental for gay men to be against someone who reinforced the horrible image that gays are child molesters. It's just self respect. Coming here to defend a homophobe is wrong, this is a gay website. Play your little pop records. When someone so hates himself, his race, his sexual orientation etc he will get no respect from me.
