Scouts Honor wins Grand Prize at USA Film Festival

The USA Film Festival/Dallas, which promotes and recognizes excellence in film and video, awarded both the Grand Prize and the First Place Non-Fiction award to Scouts Honor, Tom Shepards documentary about the controversy surrounding the decision of the Boy Scouts of America to exclude gays from its organization. The awards were given at a ceremony held Sunday in Dallas. The jury included openly lesbian Go Fish and American Psycho costar and cowriter Guinevere Turner.
