Lesbian foundation presents One Hundred Years of Lesbian Writing

The Astraea Lesbian Action Foundation, a feminist public charity devoted to advancing the well-being of the lesbian community, will present One Hundred Years of Lesbian Writing at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco on May 19. The evening will feature, among others, Dorothy Allison (Bastard Out of Carolina), reading from her own work, as well as music from singer-songwriter Nedra Johnson. Classic works from lesbian and bisexual writers will also be read. Victoria Theatre is located at 2961 16th Street in San Francisco. Call (415) 921-7410 for further information.
