Scott Rudin to reelect The Manchurian Candidate

Out producer Scott Rudin is teaming with Paramount Pictures and Tina Sinatra for a remake of the 1962 suspense classic The Manchurian Candidate, according to Variety. The original, directed by John Frankenheimer and costarring Frank Sinatra (who also produced), was widely hailed upon its 1988 reissue. No casting has yet been announced for the new version.
