Norwegian documentary wins Canadian festival

Norwegian director Even Benestad's Alt om min far (All About My Father) won the top prize Sunday at the HotDocs Canadian International Documentary Festival, reports Variety. The movie tells the story of Benestad's father, a doctor and transvestite. Also taking a prize in the National Spotlight program, which focused on films from Germany, was Absolut Warhola, Stanislaw Mucha's portrait of out artist Andy Warhol's relatives.
