Patrik-Ian Polk to develop dramedy for MTV

Variety reports that out filmmaker Patrik-Ian Polk (Punks) will develop a comedy-drama series for MTV. Ghetto Suite is a scripted series that will follow the lives of four black students at an East Coast university. Polk, who was a creative executive at MTV Films before taking his current position as vice president, production and development, for Edmonds Entertainment/E2 Filmworks, will write and direct the pilot.
