New Madonna play features lesbian kiss

MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls notes that Madonna kisses a woman in Up for Grabs, the new play that marks the diva's first London stage appearance in 13 years. Several paparazzi were ejected from the theater when they tried to photograph the sapphic smooch. Critics, however, seemed to be less enthusiastic--a reviewer for The [London] Evening Standard wrote of the "shock of discovering that Madonna has a little voice. Add to this a certain nervousness of demeanour, and you might be forgiven for thinking that her first half-dozen lines were repeated requests to be allowed to visit the toilet."
