Luketic lined up for Date

Out filmmaker Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde) is in negotiations to direct the comedy Win a Date With Tad Hamilton for DreamWorks, reports Variety. Luketic is already affiliated with the studio on their proposed series based on the Matt Helm novels. Win a Date tells the story of a grocery clerk who wins a contest to date Hollywood's most eligible bachelor, and she soon finds herself torn between the movie star and her longtime platonic best friend, who finds the courage to woo her as well.
