Elton John, David LaChapelle up for MTV Video Music Awards

Elton John's "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore" video, featuring 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake as a glammed-up '70s-era Elton, received three nominations in the MTV Video Music Awards. The clip is up for Best Male Video, Best Direction in a Video (out photographer David LaChapelle), and Best Art Direction in a Video (Kirsten Vallow). The 2002 Video Music Awards will be broadcast on MTV on Thursday, August 29.
