Jim Fall to direct The Lizzie McGuire Movie

Out director Jim Fall (Trick) will direct the $15 million comedy The Lizzie McGuire Movie for Disney, Variety reports. The film is based on the popular Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire and will star the show's Hilary Duff. Shooting is scheduled to begin October 14 for a spring 2003 release. Fall is also slated to direct the TV remake of Footloose for out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
