Francis Ford Coppola is on track to make his dream film of sexually ambiguous Beat dreamboat Jack Kerouac's 1957 novel On the Road, starring Billy Crudup and Brad Pitt, according to syndicated columnist Liz Smith. Can we look forward to homoerotic byplay? Well, as the song says, it's a long and winding road.
