John Waters elected to board of directors of Warhol Foundation

Maverick gay filmmaker John Waters has been elected to the board of directors of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, says indieWIRE.com. Foundation president Joel Wachs said that Waters is an "ideal fit," given the director's history of flouting convention in his art.
