Tony Kushner to adapt Revenge for HBO

The New York Post's Page Six column reports that out playwright Tony Kushner (Angels in America) is working on an adaptation of Laura Blumenfeld's book Revenge for an original HBO movie. The book tells the story of how Blumenfeld tracked down Omar Khatib, the man who shot her rabbi father some 20 years earlier in Israel. The film is set to be directed by Julie Taymor (Frida).
