Jinks and Cohen
sign two-year TV deal with Warner Bros.

The gay Oscar-winning producers of American Beauty are moving into television. Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen have signed a two-year production deal with Warner Bros. Television, saying they intend to develop both dramas and comedies. "We're looking for the same things that we look for in features--brilliant writers with unique, distinct voices," said Cohen. Last year they helped shepherd the Showtime police drama pilot Hate. Their recent feature credits include 2003's Big Fish and last year's Julianne Moore thriller The Forgotten.
