The Reception and Almost Normal debut on DVD

Two films of queer interest make their DVD debuts on Tuesday, November 15. The critically acclaimed The Reception (Strand Releasing Home Video), from John G. Young, the director of Parallel Sons, examines the terse interplay between a mother and daughter and their respective lovers. Romantic comedy Almost Normal (Wolfe) follows a gay man who wakes up to find himself back in high school--in a world where homosexuality is the norm and heterosexuals are societal outcasts.
