Water Bearer
Films is releasing two landmark films from British gay
filmmaker Ron Peck: Nighthawks (1978) deals with a schoolteacher seeking more from
gay life than one-night stands, and the film's semisequel, Strip Jack Naked (1991), looks at Peck's struggles both to make
his earlier film and to live as a gay man in
late-20th-century Britain. (The Advocate)
