Zadan and Meron
bring revival of A Raisin
in the Sun to TV

Variety reports that out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will bring the Tony-winning 2004 revival of A Raisin in the Sun to ABC. Zadan and Meron's Storyline Entertainment will executive-produce, and cast members Phylicia Rashad (who won the Best Actress Tony for her Broadway performance), Sanaa Lathan, and Sean Combs will reprise their roles for the telefilm. Kenny Leon, who directed the stage version, makes his screen directing premiere with the project. The film, which will also be executive-produced by Combs's Bad Boy Entertainment, begins shooting in Toronto in December for a 2007 airdate. (The Advocate)
