Mario Lopez, the Dancing With the Stars fan favorite also known for playing Saved by the Bell high school jock A.C. Slater, has declared he was putting his "foot down" on choosing outfits for his reality television competition.
"I don't want anything too fruity or too out there," Lopez said on the STAR 94.1 morning show in San Diego. "I gotta keep it masculine, gotta represent Chula Vista still," he added, referring to the San Diego suburb where he grew up.
During his brief interview, Lopez denied rumors that he and his dancing partner, Karina Smirnoff, were doing more than dancing. He also compared his initial appearance for his role on Nip/Tuck--he was naked in a shower--to soft-core pornography. (The Advocate)
