American Beauty pair extend TV production deal
Oscar-winning (American Beauty) producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen have signed a new two-year production deal with Warner Bros. Television.
Jinks and Cohen turned their attention to the small screen two years ago when they signed their first TV production pact with the studio. Under that deal they developed two upcoming series: Traveler, which will launch May 30 on ABC, and Side Order of Life, set to premiere July 15 on Lifetime.
On the feature side, the Jinks/Cohen Co. is aligned with Paramount Pictures. They most recently produced John August's indie The Nines, which premiered in January at the Sundance film festival. (Nellie Andreeva, Reuters/Hollywood Reporter)
