announces art-house production company

POWER UP!--Professional Organization of Women in Entertainment Reaching Up--a nonprofit, volunteer-run group whose mission is to promote the visibility and integration of gay women in the arts, announced Wednesday the launch of Pocket Releasing, a new division that will distribute gay and lesbian art-house projects.

Josephine Hunt-Korn, who previously worked with Warner Bros. International Home Video, will head up Pocket Releasing. The first film slated for release by the company is Itty Bitty TittyCommittee, Jamie Babbit's award-winning film. (The Advocate)
