Out director Lee Daniels is in talks to follow his film Precious with the civil rights drama Selma, reports Variety.
The new film will trace the historic 1965 march in the Alabama town, a milestone of the civil rights movement.
Daniels’s current film, Precious, is one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2009 and is expected to be a major contender when awards season begins next month.
